I have a recording and writing space called Otter House Studios. It's a genuine home recording studio of sorts. I treasure all the time I've spent in beautiful recording studios, but if I'm honest, I've always felt most at home recording on 4 track cassette machines in an old garden shed or garage. As luck would have it, this aesthetic fits my budget quite nicely!
Besides working on my own music albums and TV compositions, I also record and mix a handful of other peoples projects now and then. I recorded much of the amazing violinist and singer/songwriter Jenny Scheinman's solo record Here On Earth in my little studio, with Bill Frisell and Danny Barnes hanging out in my little space playing various instruments.
